NCAComp Announces Retirement of Executive Leaders Kevin Gregory and Steve Gidwitz

BUFFALO, N.Y. – NCAComp, a leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) in New York State workers’ compensation, announces the retirement of two longtime members of its executive leadership team: Founder, Owner, and Vice President Kevin Gregory, and President Steve Gidwitz.

Both executives leave behind a legacy of growth, stability, and dedication to the New York workers’ compensation industry. Their retirements mark the culmination of a planned leadership succession strategy, with Erin Jordan currently serving as Chief Executive Officer.

“On behalf of the entire NCAComp family, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Kevin and Steve for their decades of leadership and dedication,” said Erin Jordan, CEO of NCAComp. “They have not only built a company that is a pillar of the New York workers’ compensation community, but they have also fostered a supportive and inclusive culture that allows our staff to thrive. While we will miss their daily presence, we are incredibly grateful for their guidance during this transition and wish them the very best in their well-deserved retirements.”

A Legacy of Foundation and Strategy Kevin Gregory, Vice President and Owner since 1996, has been instrumental in shaping the company’s long-term strategic goals and maintaining its financial strength. A veteran of the industry with experience owning prior insurance brokerages and TPAs, Gregory served as the company’s license holder and has ensured the Claims Department remained compliant with the complex regulations of the New York State workers’ compensation system.

Gregory’s influence extends beyond NCAComp; he is a founding member of the Group Self-Insurance Association of New York (GSIANY), where he served as a board member and membership chairman for six years. He also served on the Insurance Committee of the Construction Exchange of Buffalo & Western New York.

“It has been a privilege and honor to serve our clients side-by-side with this team,” said Gregory. “Looking back on the ride we have had here at NCA, it worked out pretty darn well. I really appreciated being here for the transition to Erin these past few years, and I know the company is in excellent hands.”

Operational Excellence and Industry Leadership Steve Gidwitz, who joined NCAComp in 2002, served as President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). For over two decades, Gidwitz was responsible for daily operations, service quality, and client account management. His leadership ensured that NCAComp’s internal departments operated seamlessly and that the company remained at the forefront of information security.

Gidwitz is a recognized leader in the field, having served as Vice President and board member of GSIANY. He also served on an advisory committee to the Workers’ Compensation Board of New York, assisting in rewriting state regulations. In 2014, he was honored with the inaugural Buffalo 612 C-Level Executive Award.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to work at NCA for the past 23 years and come across such good people,” said Gidwitz. “NCA is set up to succeed for years to come due to all the employees that make us who we are—one of the best TPAs in New York State. I look forward to traveling, playing sports, working a little for my family business, and of course, spending time with my many grandkids.”
