An important and often overlooked process in New York State Workers’ Compensation is the Health Insurance Matching Program (HIMP). The HIMP process provides recourse for health insurers/health benefit plans to seek reimbursement for expenses incurred that could or should have rightly been billed to the workers’ compensation plan.
