NCAComp's Officers

NCAComp's officers are responsible for keeping the company moving forward. Their duties include strategic planning, establishing business policies, and overseeing day-to-day management of office operations.

Kevin Gregory, Vice President

Kevin Gregory began his insurance career in 1977 in the San Francisco office of Hartford Insurance Company. There he was trained and served as a commercial lines underwriter. While in the San Francisco area, he became a broker and eventually opened his own agency specializing in property and casualty insurance for manufacturers and contractors.

In 1990, Kevin and his wife made the decision to relocate their family to Buffalo, NY. In 1994, he began to specialize in self-insured workers' compensation services. In 1996 he became president of NCAComp. In addition, Kevin is a founding member of the Group Self-Insurance Association of New York (GSIANY); was a board member and membership chairman of GSIANY for six years; and served on the Insurance Committee of the Construction Exchange of Buffalo & Western New York for three years.

Steve Gidwitz, President

Steve Gidwitz began his career in 1980 after graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans with a B.A. in Business Management. He worked for Consolidated Packaging in Chicago for several years in various positions before moving to Bakersfield, CA, and becoming an administrative manager at Riverwood International, a global leader in developing innovative packaging solutions.

In 1991, Steve moved to Western New York and worked for Corson Manufacturing for more than a decade, first as vice president of operations, then as president, before becoming vice president of NCAComp in 2002, and Chief Operating Officer in 2011.

Over the course of his career, his job responsibilities have included: human resources, purchasing, inside sales, sales management, quality control, accident prevention, plant management, and full company management.

In addition, Steve has served as a board member and vice president of the Group Self-Insurance Association of New York (GSIANY) and served on a WCB/GSIANY committee to assist in rewriting the rules and regulations of self-insurance groups in the state of New York.

Devon Fik, VP Claims Manager

Devon Fik joined NCAComp in 2001 and was previously claims manager before assuming her current position. Her role includes oversight of the Workers' Compensation Claims Administration Department, which is responsible for investigating, analyzing, and managing costs of workers' compensation claims for the firm's clients. She is also responsible for the design and oversight of the quality assurance program for clients, the incentive program for employees, and for reconfiguring the claims process to improve effectiveness and the quality of the claims administration process.

She is a 2001 graduate of Hilbert College, where she completed her B.A. in Psychology. She is a past president of the Buffalo Claims Association.



Erin Jordan, CEO

Erin Jordan joined NCAComp in 2009 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University in 2006 with a degree in international relations and international economics.  She worked in the banking and mutual fund industry in Boston, MA before joining NCA.  Erin is a licensed New York State Property and Casualty Broker and New York State Adjuster.

At NCAComp, Erin oversees Business Development, Account Management and Vendor Management, and provides insurance brokerage services to NCA’s clients. She is active in local industry associations, and has served on the board for the Insurance Club of Buffalo (2012-2014) and as President of the Self-Insurers of the Niagara Frontier (2013-2015).
